Earn 70,000 AAdvantage miles after $7,000 in purchases in the first 3 months.

Our Take

Pure Admirals Club access card. If you spend more than ~$850/year on lounge passes or visit AA hubs frequently, the $595 fee is a layup. The 2024 refresh added ~$360/year in Lyft/Grubhub/Avis credits that often go unclaimed, plus the free checked bag for 9 travelers is undersold for family travelers.

Statement credits

11
  • $850
    Admirals Club MembershipYearly

Full Admirals Club membership for the primary cardholder. The issuer markets the value as up to $850; the standalone membership runs roughly $700 to $850 a year depending on AAdvantage status, so $850 is an upper-bound estimate.

  • $120
    Lyft CreditMonthly

A $10 monthly statement credit after taking 3 or more eligible Lyft rides in that calendar month, up to $120 a year. Enrollment is required and unused months do not carry forward.

  • $120
    Grubhub CreditMonthly

Up to $10 in statement credits per monthly billing statement on eligible Grubhub and Seamless orders paid with the card, up to $120 over a year. Enrollment is required.

  • $120
    Avis/Budget Prepaid Rental CreditYearly

Up to $120 a calendar year in statement credits on eligible prepaid car rentals booked directly at avis.com or budget.com and paid with the card.

  • $30
    Global Entry/TSA PreCheckYearly

Up to $120 reimbursement for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck once every 4 years (about $30 a year when annualized).

  • 25% statement-credit savings on in-flight food and beverage purchases on American Airlines flights when you charge them to the card (automatically applied as a statement credit; alcoholic beverages may be excluded based on local regulations)
  • $120
Up to $120 in annual Lyft credits, delivered as a $10 statement credit each calendar month after taking 3 or more eligible Lyft rides in that same calendar month, paid with the Citi AAdvantage Executive Card (enrollment required, calendar-year cap, lapsed months do not roll forward; new with the 2024 refresh)
  • $120
Up to $120 in annual Grubhub statement credits, delivered as up to $10 in statement credits per monthly billing statement on eligible Grubhub and Seamless purchases paid with the card, capped at up to $120 in credits over 12 billing statements (enrollment required; new with the 2024 refresh)
  • $120
Up to $120 in annual Avis or Budget statement credits per calendar year when you book eligible prepaid car rentals directly on avis.com or budget.com and pay with the card (single rental or multiple eligible rentals may be used to reach the $120 annual cap; new with the 2024 refresh)
  • $120
Up to $120 statement credit as reimbursement for the application fee for Global Entry every 4 years, or up to $85 every 4.5 years for TSA PreCheck (Global Entry is the better value because TSA PreCheck access is included with Global Entry but not the reverse); applies to a Trusted Traveler Program application fee charged to the card
  • $120
Avis President's Club status was historically a Citi AAdvantage Executive perk (luxury vehicle upgrades when available, counter bypass, dedicated customer care line), but Citi removed this benefit before the 2024 refresh; the card no longer advertises Avis President's Club status on the issuer product page or in the post-refresh benefit lineup, and the up-to-$120 calendar-year Avis/Budget statement credit is now the only Avis benefit (do not rely on President's Club status for this card today)
