Yes, every core feature is free and there is no subscription today. Some credit card apply links are personal referral or affiliate links that pay us when you're approved, and a few travel links pay a commission when you book, many cards on the site carry no such link at all. Do I need an account to use the site?

No. You can browse the credit card catalog, run valuations, and check transfer bonuses without signing up. A free account is required to use the AI Advisor, save balances in the wallet, or track card credits.

Start at /start-here for a step-by-step path: pick a flexible-points card, hit the welcome bonus on spending you already do, add your balances to the wallet, then ask the AI Advisor about a real trip you want to take. Picking one trip first, then earning toward it, works better than collecting points with no goal.

The news feed at /news aggregates headlines from the public RSS feeds of major points-and-miles publications, including The Points Guy, One Mile at a Time, and Frequent Miler. Every item links to the original source, we don't republish full articles or write our own news posts.

What can the AI Advisor help with?

Accepted Answer

Ask it things like which card to use for a purchase, which transfer partner gets you to a destination, or whether points or cash makes more sense for a trip. It answers from our verified card and program database and current transfer bonuses, plus, if you're signed in, the balances and cards you've saved to your wallet.

Does the Advisor have live internet access or real-time data?

No. The Advisor works from our own verified card and program database and published award pricing, not a live web search. When something needs checking outside that data, like current seat availability, it says so and points you to the airline's own search instead of guessing.

How many chats do I get with the Advisor?

Accepted Answer

Signed-in users get 200 advisor chats per rolling 24-hour window while the current beta is free for everyone. If you hit the limit you'll see a short message, and it resets as the window rolls forward, nothing else breaks.

What if the Advisor's answer looks wrong?

Every response runs through an automatic verifier before it reaches you, but it isn't perfect. Email hello@rewardztravel.com with the question you asked and what was wrong, and we'll fix the underlying data.

It's your personal tracker for points and miles balances across airline, hotel, and bank programs. Add a program, enter your balance, and see its estimated dollar value using our published valuations.

Are my wallet balances kept in sync automatically?

Accepted Answer

No, balances are manual entry. You type in what you have and update it yourself when it changes. We never ask for or store your loyalty program passwords.

Can I import or export my wallet?

Accepted Answer

You can bulk-add balances by pasting rows from a spreadsheet or a CSV file exported from AwardWallet or a similar tool, free accounts have a cap on how many programs you can add this way. Downloading your own wallet as a CSV is currently a paid-tier feature.

Do points expire, and does the wallet track that?

Many transferable bank points don't expire while your account stays active and in good standing. Airline and hotel points often expire after a period of inactivity, and the exact terms vary by program. You can add an expiration date to any wallet balance and we'll flag ones expiring soon.

How do you decide which cards to feature?

We evaluate cards on sign-up bonus value, ongoing earning rates, annual fee versus benefits, transfer partner flexibility, and real-world usability. Whether a card link pays us a referral or affiliate commission never changes the ranking or the recommendation.

What is the Credit Tracker?

Many premium cards have statement credits that reset monthly, quarterly, or annually. Add your cards and check off each credit as you use it, the tracker shows what's still claimable and compares credits used against the annual fee so you can see if the card is paying for itself.

What's the difference between transferable points and airline or hotel points?

Accepted Answer

Transferable bank points, like Chase Ultimate Rewards, Amex Membership Rewards, Citi ThankYou, Capital One miles, and Bilt, can move to many airline and hotel partners, so you can wait for a good redemption before committing to a program. Airline miles and hotel points live in a single program and can only be redeemed on that program's own chart.

What should I check before transferring points to a partner?

Transfer ratios aren't always 1:1, some partners receive more points than you send and some receive fewer. Check the current ratio on /transfer-partners before you move anything, transfers are one-way and can't be reversed once submitted.

What is a transfer bonus, and how do you verify them?

Banks occasionally run bonuses on transfers to a specific partner, for a limited window you get extra miles or points for the same transfer. We track active bonuses on /transfer-bonuses and verify each one against the issuer's own page before publishing it, along with its expiration date.

Should I transfer points just because there's a bonus?

Accepted Answer

No. Only transfer when you already have a specific flight or stay in mind and have confirmed availability. A bonus makes a good redemption better, it doesn't make a bad one good, and the transfer can't be undone.

Each program's cents-per-point value on /valuations is RewardZ Travel's own estimate of what a point is typically worth when redeemed well, blended from several independent points-and-miles publishers. It's a guide for comparing programs, not a guaranteed redemption value, what you actually get depends on the specific flight or stay you book.

How do I use points for hotels, and is it ever better than paying cash?

Points tend to beat cash when the cash rate is high, think peak season or a sold-out city, and lose when the rate is low or you'd rather earn elite-qualifying nights. Redemptions that just convert points to a flat statement credit or gift card are usually a poor value. Current blended valuations for hotel programs are on /valuations.

How does award search work, and is the availability shown real-time?

Search compares published award chart pricing across supported programs and shows results sorted by value. This is published pricing, not a live seat check, so confirm actual availability directly with the airline or program before you transfer any points.

Why is the search one-way only?

Accepted Answer

Most award charts price one-way, and searching that way lets you mix programs, for example outbound on one airline's miles and the return on another's, which is often cheaper than booking a round trip through a single program.

How do I create an account or sign in?

Click Sign in at the top of any page, then continue with Google or sign up with email and password. You're taken straight into your account, no email confirmation step is required today.

Click Sign in, then Forgot password, and we'll email a reset link that expires in an hour. If you originally signed up with Google you don't have a password, use Continue with Google instead.

How do I delete my account?

Go to /account and scroll to Delete account. This is permanent and removes your wallet data, saved cards, and history within 30 days. Email hello@rewardztravel.com if the request doesn't go through.
