That combination is rarer than it sounds in the Pacific, where most island destinations are either overpriced in points or thin on premium product.

On the airfare side, the numbers that matter most are 55,000 Alaska miles for Fiji Airways business class (the saver rate cited on this page) and 80,000 points at saver business pricing through other program and carrier combinations. Alaska Mileage Plan does not have a direct transfer partnership with Chase Ultimate Rewards or American Express Membership Rewards, so those points require a routing through a partner that Alaska does accept, or a pivot to an alternative carrier. That math is worth running explicitly: 140,000 Amex MR points produce one Conrad night via transfer, compared to earning Hilton points directly or via Hilton co-branded cards. Six Senses Fiji sits outside the major loyalty footprint entirely and requires cash or IHG points depending on the property configuration, so it is less actionable for pure points redemptions. Sheraton Fiji falls under Marriott Bonvoy and can price competitively for travelers holding large Bonvoy balances, but the Conrad tends to dominate on points-per-dollar value for this corridor given our conservative Hilton Honors valuations.

Seasonality matters here more than in many Pacific destinations. The dry season runs April through October, and that window also represents peak demand for award inventory. Business class space on Fiji Airways and United to NAN tightens considerably from June through August, when Southern Hemisphere winter travelers and Northern Hemisphere summer vacationers overlap. Award availability tends to open slightly in April, May, and September, which also happen to be shoulder-rate months on the hotel side. If your dates are fixed in July or August, start monitoring partner space at least six months out. Hilton standard awards carry no blackout dates by policy, so the Conrad availability problem is simpler than the air problem, though suite categories can still sell out at points prices during peak weeks.
