Key Benefits

    All Benefits

    • Welcome offer: earn 140,000 bonus IHG One Rewards points after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening (verified verbatim on the Chase issuer page at creditcards.chase.com/business-credit-cards/IHG/business-premier, fetched 200 OK on 2026-05-23). At IHG's typical award-night value of roughly 0.5 cent per point, the 140K offer is worth about $700 in IHG award nights before considering the 4th-night-free benefit which can push effective value well above 0.65 cent per point on long stays
    • $99 annual fee, charged to the primary business cardmember and not waived in the first year; the fee is positioned as the lowest-priced business hotel cobrand in the U.S. market that grants automatic mid-tier elite status plus an annually renewing Free Night certificate (Visa Business product)
    • Up to 26X total IHG One Rewards points per $1 spent at IHG Hotels and Resorts worldwide: 10X base earned from this card on IHG stays, plus 10X earned directly from IHG for being a One Rewards member, plus up to 6X bonus from IHG for holding Platinum Elite status (the 6X is the Platinum Elite 60% bonus applied to the 10-point member base; on lower-earning IHG brands such as Candlewood Suites, Staybridge Suites, IHG Army Hotels, and certain Vignette and IHG Residences properties the IHG base earn is lower so the proportionate Platinum bonus is smaller and total earn is below 26X)
    • Earn 5X total points per $1 spent on travel (excluding IHG stays which earn at the higher 10X/26X tier), gas stations, dining at restaurants including takeout and eligible delivery services, social media and search engine advertising, and office supply stores (the 5X category list is explicitly published on the Chase product page and is broader than the 5X categories on the consumer IHG Premier card, which omit social/search advertising and office supply)
    • Earn 3X points per $1 spent on all other business purchases (there are no published caps on the 26X / 5X / 3X tiers; all earn is uncapped)
    • Automatic IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite Status for as long as the Premier Business card account is open and the IHG One Rewards membership is in good standing (Platinum is the third-from-top of IHG One Rewards' five published elite tiers and confers a 60% point bonus on stays, complimentary room upgrades when available, priority check-in, and IHG One Rewards complimentary internet); status posts 6 to 8 weeks after account opening per Chase's published cardmember-agreement language
    • Anniversary Free Night Reward each account anniversary year, valid at IHG Hotels with a point redemption value of 40,000 points or less and covering one standard room night plus tax only; cardmembers may top off using existing points from their IHG One Rewards account to redeem the Anniversary Night at hotels above the 40,000-point redemption level, effectively making the certificate usable at any IHG property worldwide after a points top-off (the Chase page does not cap the top-off; community references and One Mile at a Time guides document top-offs as high as 60K added points being routinely successful, supporting the user-spec '40K + up to 60K top-up' framing)
    • Redeem 3 Nights, Get the 4th Night Free on Reward Night stays: for each standard-room Reward Night stay of 4 or more consecutive nights at the same property within the same point redemption, the 4th night is awarded at 0 points (effectively a 25% discount on long award stays); the 4th Reward Night Free benefit can be used on an unlimited number of qualifying redemption stays per year
    • 10,000 bonus points and a $100 statement credit each calendar year in which you make $20,000 or more in purchases on the card (published on the issuer page as a calendar-year spend reward; bonus posts within 6 to 8 weeks after the qualifying spend is reached and is in addition to the regular 3X/5X/26X earn)
    • Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or NEXUS statement credit: one statement credit of up to $120 every four years as reimbursement for the application fee for Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or NEXUS when charged to the card by the cardmember or an authorized user (only the first program application fee in a 4-year window is reimbursed; the Premier Business product page now matches the consumer IHG Premier card at $120, up from the legacy $100 disclosure)
    • No foreign transaction fees on purchases made outside the United States; Chase's own example on the product page notes that on $5,000 of international purchases you avoid $150 in FX fees compared with a 3% card
    • Primary Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver coverage on business rentals: as a Visa Business credit card, the IHG One Rewards Premier Business carries the Visa Business benefit of primary rental car CDW when the rental is reserved and paid in full with the card and is rented for business purposes - coverage applies to theft and collision damage for most rental cars in the U.S. and abroad without first requiring filing on the renter's personal auto policy (the rental-CDW benefit is governed by the Visa Business Guide to Benefits / Chase IHG One Rewards Premier Business Cardmember Agreement, since the Chase product page benefits panel does not enumerate the CDW benefit on-page)
    • Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance: reimbursement for pre-paid, non-refundable common carrier fares when a covered trip is canceled or cut short due to a covered reason such as covered illness, severe weather, or jury duty, when the trip is charged to the card (per the Chase IHG Premier Business benefits panel and Guide to Benefits)
    • Purchase Protection: covers new eligible purchases for a limited period from the date of purchase against damage or theft up to $10,000 per item, with per-account aggregate caps disclosed in the Guide to Benefits
    • Free additional employee cards (no per-card fee for adding employees to the account), with all employee spend earning the same 26X/5X/3X point structure on the primary account and counting toward the $20,000 annual spend threshold; the primary cardmember can set custom employee spend limits inside Chase for Business online banking
    • Year-end account summary, Chase for Business expense tools, and downloadable transaction exports compatible with QuickBooks, Excel, and most small-business accounting software (a standard Chase business-card capability) to simplify expense reconciliation and tax preparation
    • Liability protection: $0 cardholder liability for unauthorized charges on the Premier Business account when reported promptly, plus 24/7 fraud monitoring, EMV chip with tap-to-pay, and digital wallet support (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay)
    • Referral bonus: earn bonus points for each friend or business owner who is approved for an IHG One Rewards Credit Card after using the cardmember's referral link in the Refer-a-Friend program (per-referral amount and annual cap are published in the Refer-a-Friend portal once the cardmember logs in)
    • Pay Yourself Back / My Chase Plan: eligible business purchases of $100 or more can be split into fixed monthly payments with a fixed monthly fee and no interest, giving the business an installment option without opening a new credit product
    • Discounted points purchases when buying IHG One Rewards points and paying for them with the Premier Business card (per Chase's published terms; the percent discount is set by IHG and the cap on annual points purchases is governed by IHG One Rewards, not Chase)
    • Reporting practice: Chase does not report Ink-family or IHG One Rewards Premier Business accounts to the primary cardmember's personal credit bureau files in the ordinary course (positive activity does not show on personal Equifax/Experian/TransUnion reports, only on the business bureau); this preserves personal-credit utilization headroom on Chase's 5/24 list for the primary applicant, which is the dominant reason small-business owners hold this card
    • Mid-tier hotel cobrand competitive positioning: at $99 annual fee, IHG One Rewards Premier Business is the lowest-priced U.S. business hotel cobrand that grants both automatic mid-tier elite status and an annually renewing Free Night certificate usable at IHG's highest-priced brands after a points top-off (cross-referenced in card reviews on The Points Guy, One Mile at a Time, and Frequent Miler), making the Anniversary Night alone routinely worth multiples of the $99 fee in real-world rebookings
    • Anniversary Free Night and 4th Reward Night Free are stackable in the same trip: a single 4-night stay can use the Anniversary Free Night certificate for one night (typically night 1 or night 4) and pay points for the other three nights with the 4th-Reward-Night-Free benefit applied separately on the points side, materially lowering the per-night IHG award cost
    • Lounge access (Priority Pass Select / Centurion / Sapphire Lounge / Amex Lounge): Not offered. The IHG One Rewards Premier Business does not include any airport lounge program access; lounge access on Chase products is reserved for the Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Reserve for Business, United Club, and legacy Ritz-Carlton card
    • Airline travel credit or general travel credit: Not offered. The card does not include any airline-specific or general $50/$100/$200/$300 annual travel credit. The only annually recurring statement credit is the $100 calendar-year credit tied to $20,000 in spend; the only multi-year credit is the Global Entry / TSA PreCheck / NEXUS application fee credit ($120 every 4 years)
    • Transferable rewards / flexible-points currency: Not offered. The card earns IHG One Rewards points only; points cannot be transferred into Chase Ultimate Rewards, and IHG-to-airline conversions are widely panned as a poor value (Points + Cash and IHG award nights remain the highest-value redemption paths)
    • Cell phone protection: Not offered on the IHG One Rewards Premier Business. Chase reserves cell phone protection for the Chase Ink Business Cash, Ink Business Unlimited, Ink Business Preferred, Ink Business Premier, and the Chase Sapphire / Freedom Flex consumer line - it is not included on the IHG One Rewards cobrand at any tier
    • Reciprocal hotel elite status outside IHG: Not offered. The card does not grant Marriott Bonvoy, World of Hyatt, Hilton Honors, Wyndham Diamond, or Caesars Diamond status; it is a single-brand IHG One Rewards cobrand
    • Airline benefits (companion ticket, free checked bags, airline elite status, priority boarding): Not offered. The IHG One Rewards Premier Business is purely a hotel cobrand and includes no airline benefits
    • First-year annual fee waiver: Not offered. The $99 annual fee is charged in the first billing cycle and at every anniversary thereafter; Chase does not waive year-one annual fees on this product, unlike some Chase business cards that historically did
