Our Take

Bilt 2.0's top tier ($495 AF), launched February 7, 2026 by Cardless. Stacks $400 hotel + $200 Bilt Cash + the Obsidian benefit set + Priority Pass with 2 guests. For Bilt loyalists who already hit the rent-day game hard, the math works; for everyone else, Obsidian is plenty.

All Benefits

  • Welcome offer: 50,000 bonus Bilt Points + Bilt Gold elite status after spending $4,000 on non-housing purchases within the first 90 days, plus $300 in Bilt Cash upon approval. Up to $100 of Bilt Cash earned rolls over to the next year. Verified by Frequent Miler and One Mile at a Time as the public Bilt Palladium Card welcome offer
  • $495 annual fee for the primary cardmember, positioning Palladium as the top-tier card in Bilt's three-card portfolio (Bilt Blue at $0, Bilt Obsidian at $95, Bilt Palladium at $495), all issued by Cardless on the Mastercard network
  • Earn 2x Bilt Points per dollar on rent payments with no transaction or processing fees, up to $100,000 in rent spend per calendar year (rent earning is uncapped on lower Bilt cards at 1x; Palladium uniquely doubles the rate to 2x within the $100K cap)
  • Earn 5x Bilt Points per dollar on dining purchases, including restaurants, takeout, and eligible food delivery (the highest publicly available rate on a transferable-points card in the dining category at the Palladium fee tier)
  • Earn 4x Bilt Points per dollar on travel purchases, including airfare, hotels, car rentals, cruises, taxis, ride-share, parking, tolls, trains, buses, ferries, and travel agencies
  • Earn 3x Bilt Points per dollar on all other eligible non-housing purchases (a category-agnostic everyday rate that exceeds the flat 2x earn rates typical at competing premium cards)
  • Rent Day 2X bonus: on the first of every month (Rent Day), all non-housing earn categories double, so dining earns 10x, travel earns 8x, other earns 6x, and the 2x rent rate is unaffected; Rent Day bonus is capped per Bilt's standard program rules at 10,000 bonus points per month
  • Up to $400 annual dining credit, automatically applied as statement credits on eligible restaurant purchases (delivered in monthly or semi-annual installments per Bilt's published cadence; the $400 cap resets each cardmember anniversary year)
  • Up to $200 annual hotel credit on direct hotel bookings made with the card (booked directly with the hotel brand or property, not through online travel agencies); statement credit posts automatically on qualifying purchases up to the $200 annual cap
  • Complimentary Priority Pass Select membership with unlimited visits for the primary cardmember plus up to 2 guests per visit at 1,500+ airport lounges and Priority Pass restaurants worldwide
  • Complimentary Lyft Pink All Access membership (Lyft's top-tier rideshare subscription, retail value $199/year), which bundles priority pickup, member-exclusive pricing, free Classic Lyft cancellations, free upgrades when available, Grubhub+ membership, and other Lyft Pink perks
  • Cell phone protection: when the primary monthly cell phone bill is paid with the Bilt Palladium Card, the cardmember and listed authorized users on the bill receive coverage for damage or theft of their phones, subject to Mastercard's published per-claim limit and annual claim cap on World Elite Mastercards
  • Primary auto rental collision damage waiver (CDW): when the rental company's collision damage waiver is declined and the full rental is charged to the card, coverage is primary in the United States and abroad on rentals up to the Mastercard World Elite period limit, reimbursing for collision, theft, and loss of use
  • Trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage: nonrefundable trip costs charged to the card are reimbursed when a covered loss (covered illness, injury, severe weather, jury duty, military orders, or other listed reasons) cancels or interrupts a trip, subject to Mastercard World Elite per-trip and per-account limits
  • Trip delay reimbursement: when a common-carrier trip charged to the card is delayed beyond the qualifying threshold (typically 6+ hours or overnight) due to a covered reason, the card reimburses reasonable additional expenses such as meals, lodging, and toiletries, subject to Mastercard World Elite limits
  • Transferable Bilt Points are valued at 1.65 cents apiece in Bilt's published valuation framework, used by Bilt for promotional comparisons and for evaluating Bilt Travel portal redemptions
  • Bilt Points transfer 1:1 to airline loyalty partners including American Airlines AAdvantage, United MileagePlus, Air Canada Aeroplan, Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Alaska Mileage Plan / Atmos Rewards, British Airways Executive Club / Avios, Cathay Pacific, Emirates Skywards, Hawaiian HawaiianMiles, Iberia Plus, Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, Aer Lingus AerClub, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, and Avianca LifeMiles (Bilt is one of only a few programs that transfers to both American AAdvantage and United MileagePlus)
  • Bilt Points transfer 1:1 to hotel loyalty partners including World of Hyatt, Hilton Honors, IHG One Rewards, Marriott Bonvoy, and Accor Live Limitless (note: Hilton and Marriott typically transfer at less favorable hotel-program ratios in practice, while Hyatt and IHG offer the strongest hotel-transfer value per the Bilt published transfer ratios)
  • No foreign transaction fees on purchases made outside the United States or in foreign currencies
  • Issued on the World Elite Mastercard network, which carries Mastercard's premium World Elite benefit suite including Mastercard Travel & Lifestyle Services, 24/7 Mastercard Global Concierge, Mastercard ID Theft Protection, Mastercard Priceless Experiences, and Zero Liability protection against unauthorized use
  • Complimentary hotel elite status: Not offered (the Bilt Palladium does not include automatic Marriott, Hilton, IHG, or Hyatt status the way Amex Platinum bundles Marriott Gold and Hilton Gold; status is only achievable via Bilt's own Bilt Status program)
  • Airline incidental fee credit: Not offered (the Palladium does not include a general $200-style airline incidental credit; its travel-credit construction is hotel-specific via the $200 direct-hotel-booking credit and dining-specific via the $400 dining credit)
  • Global Entry / TSA PreCheck credit: Not offered (unlike Amex Platinum, Chase Sapphire Reserve, and Capital One Venture X, the Bilt Palladium does not reimburse the Global Entry / TSA PreCheck / NEXUS application fee at launch)
  • Annual high-spend milestone bonus: Not offered (no Sapphire Reserve $250-at-$75K style spend-milestone reward; the value stack is built on monthly Rent Day plus the dining, hotel, and Lyft Pink credits)
  • CLEAR Plus or streaming credits: Not offered (no CLEAR Plus, Walmart+, Disney Bundle, or similar consumer-subscription credits)
