Key Benefits
All Benefits
- $95 annual fee, not waived the first year (Barclays issuer product page, Fee Summary: 'Annual fee $95')
- Welcome bonus: earn 45,000 Wyndham Rewards bonus points after spending $3,000 on purchases AND paying the annual fee in full, both within the first 90 days from account opening; Barclays markets the 45,000 points as enough for up to 6 free nights at participating Wyndham properties (free nights can require up to 30,000 points per bedroom; resort fees may apply and cannot be paid with points) -- verified on the Barclays product page, May 2026
- Earn 8 Wyndham Rewards points per $1 spent on eligible purchases at Hotels by Wyndham (any of the 24+ Wyndham brands such as Days Inn, Super 8, La Quinta, Ramada, Wyndham Garden, Wyndham Grand, Microtel, Howard Johnson, etc.) AND on qualifying gas purchases (combined 8X category)
- Earn 5 Wyndham Rewards points per $1 spent on eligible marketing, advertising, and utility purchases (the small-business productivity multipliers that distinguish Earner Business from the personal Earner Plus card)
- Earn 1 Wyndham Rewards point per $1 spent on all other purchases, explicitly excluding Wyndham Timeshare resort down payments which do not earn rewards points
- Unlimited earning: there is no cap on the number of Wyndham Rewards points you can earn on the card (no quarterly or annual category limits on the 8X, 5X, or 1X tiers)
- Anniversary bonus: receive 15,000 Wyndham Rewards bonus points each account anniversary year with NO spending requirement attached -- enough for up to two free nights at the 7,500-point tier, materially better than the $75 Earner Plus which now requires $15,000 in spend to unlock 7,500 anniversary points
- Automatic Wyndham Rewards DIAMOND member level (top tier) for as long as you are a cardholder -- the only U.S. cobrand credit card besides the Hilton Aspire that grants top-tier hotel status from card membership alone (per One Mile at a Time Wyndham guide)
- Diamond on-property perks per the Wyndham Rewards Member Level program: suite upgrades when available, welcome amenity at check-in, free Wi-Fi, preferred room choice, early check-in, late checkout, and other top-tier elite benefits at participating Hotels by Wyndham (subject to property participation; not guaranteed at independently operated Wyndham brands)
- 10% fewer Wyndham Rewards points required on Free Night redemptions for as long as you are a cardmember -- the cheapest tier drops from 7,500 to 6,750 points per bedroom; the 15,000-tier drops to 13,500; and the 30,000-tier drops to 27,000 (caps at 30,000 points per bedroom; resort fees still apply and cannot be paid with points)
- Cardmember Booking Discount: save on the Standard Rate / Best Available Rate at participating Hotels by Wyndham as an Earner Business cardmember when you book direct through Wyndham channels (per Barclays product page Rewards section)
- Redeem Wyndham Rewards points for free nights at participating Wyndham Rewards properties (7,500 / 15,000 / 30,000 points per bedroom tiers, all reduced 10% for cardholders), GO FAST nights (points + cash starting around 1,500 points + cash per bedroom), online shopping, gift cards, airline miles, and merchandise via wyndhamrewards.com
- No foreign transaction fees on international purchases (confirmed in the Barclays Interest Rates and Charges Summary: 'Foreign transaction fee: 0%')
- Complimentary Employee Cards at no additional cost: Barclays lets you add employees with individual unique card numbers linked to the company account, with control over per-employee credit line, single-purchase limit, and cash access -- valuable structural feature for small-business expense tracking
- Visa SavingsEdge enrollment for automatic statement-credit discounts on qualifying business purchases at participating merchants (visasavingsedge.com; merchant list rotates and includes office supply, fuel, shipping, and B2B service providers)
- Extended Warranty protection via the Visa Guide to Benefits on eligible purchases (extends the manufacturer's U.S.-warranty by an additional period; coverage terms in the Visa Signature / Visa Business Guide to Benefits delivered after account approval)
- Visa Signature card network (the page footer confirms 'The Wyndham Rewards Earner Cards are issued by Barclays Bank Delaware pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. Visa and Visa Signature are registered trademarks and used under license'); note that some older marketing referenced Mastercard, but the current issuer product page documents the Visa Signature network only
- $0 Fraud Liability protection: cardholder is not responsible for unauthorized charges (per the Barclays Benefits section)
- Contactless Technology / Tap to Pay for faster, easier in-person purchasing at chip-and-contactless terminals in the U.S. and abroad
- 0% promotional APR for 6 billing cycles on Wyndham Timeshare Purchases made on the card, then a variable purchase APR of 19.49% to 29.49% based on creditworthiness; the 0% promo does NOT extend to regular purchases or balance transfers (regular purchase APR is 19.49% to 29.49% from day one). Balance transfer fee 3% / min $5; cash advance APR 29.74% variable
- Business-card credit-reporting structure: as a Barclays business card, the Earner Business historically does NOT report to personal credit bureaus during normal operation (only the initial hard pull on application and any serious delinquency get reported), which preserves consumer personal-credit utilization headroom -- a meaningful structural advantage for small-business owners managing 5/24 and personal-credit limits
- Caesars Rewards status match via the credit card: NOT offered going forward. Wyndham announced in November 2024 that effective February 1, 2025, Wyndham Rewards DIAMOND member level obtained as a result of being a Barclays Wyndham Earner Business cardholder no longer matches into Caesars Rewards. Only Wyndham status earned through actual paid stays still matches to Caesars Diamond. This kills the previously popular Earner-Business-to-Caesars-Diamond-to-cruise-status hack (documented by Doctor of Credit November 10, 2024)
- Vacasa booking and 5,000-bonus-points-per-Vacasa-stay benefit: NOT offered going forward. Wyndham and Vacasa ended their partnership in late 2025 following Vacasa's acquisition by Casago; new Vacasa reservations through Wyndham could only be booked through November 30, 2025 with checkout by January 31, 2026. The Earner Business's prior Vacasa cardholder perks are no longer in market
- 10% gas-station rebate / cash-back on fuel up to 100,000 gallons annually: NOT offered. This benefit appeared on earlier-era Barclays Wyndham cobrand products and has been REMOVED on the current Earner Business product page (current fuel benefit is the 8X earn rate, not a percentage rebate or gallon-based credit). Verified absent from the Barclays product page Rewards and Benefits sections as of May 2026
- Wyndham Rewards Gold elite status: NOT offered as a discrete benefit (the card grants the higher DIAMOND member level; Gold is the status conferred by the no-annual-fee personal Earner Card, not by the Earner Business)
- World Elite Mastercard network benefits (Mastercard Travel Pass / Priceless Cities / Lyft credits / Boxed credits / cellphone protection / DoorDash DashPass): NOT offered. The current Earner Business is a Visa Signature card per the Barclays product page footer, so no Mastercard-specific cardholder benefits apply
- Wyndham Rewards points expiration policy: Points do not expire as long as the cardholder maintains program activity per Wyndham Rewards program terms (a Wyndham Rewards program feature, not a credit-card-specific benefit -- the rule applies to all Wyndham Rewards members regardless of card status; verify on wyndhamrewards.com/terms before relying on this for long-term point storage)
- Airport lounge access: Not offered (no Priority Pass, no Wyndham-sponsored lounge access, no airport lounge credit on the Earner Business; Barclays does not advertise any lounge benefit on this card)
- Airline elite status: Not offered (no complimentary airline elite status of any kind; the only complimentary status conferred is Wyndham Rewards DIAMOND)
- Hotel elite status outside Wyndham: Not offered (no Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, or Choice status is conferred; the Caesars Diamond match previously available through Wyndham DIAMOND was discontinued for credit-card-derived status on 2/1/2025)
- Annual statement credits (travel, dining, streaming, rideshare, Wyndham, gas, advertising, shipping): Not offered (Barclays does not provide any recurring statement credits on the Earner Business product page; the value proposition is multiplier points + Diamond status + 15K anniversary points + the 10% award discount, not credits)
- Global Entry / TSA PreCheck / NEXUS application fee credit: Not offered on this card (no application fee reimbursement is listed in Barclays Earner Business benefits)
- Cell phone protection: Not offered (Barclays does not list cellphone protection in the Earner Business benefits section; unlike Chase Ink Business cards, Wells Fargo cards, or some Mastercard World Elite-tier cards, the Earner Business does not include this perk)
- Travel insurance suite (trip cancellation / interruption / delay, baggage delay, lost luggage, travel accident insurance, emergency evacuation) and purchase protection / return protection / price protection: Not advertised on the Barclays product page Benefits section (only Extended Warranty is listed); these benefits are issuer-optional on Visa Signature and Barclays has not opted them in for the Earner Business -- consult the Guide to Benefits delivered after approval before relying on any specific coverage
