Earn 5 points per $1 spent on eligible purchases made at Hotels by Wyndham (any of the 20+ Wyndham brands such as Days Inn, Super 8, La Quinta, Wyndham Garden, Wyndham Grand, Ramada, Microtel, Howard Johnson, Travelodge, Wingate, etc.) and on qualifying gas purchases

Earn 2 points per $1 spent on eligible dining and grocery store purchases, excluding Target and Walmart (Barclays codes those two retailers as discount stores rather than grocery, even when grocery is purchased there)

Earn 1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases, explicitly excluding Wyndham Timeshare resort down payments which do not earn points (the card otherwise carries no spend caps and earning is unlimited)
