Curated redemptions where Marriott Bonvoy consistently prices above our 0.79¢ valuation. Availability is the binding constraint, verify saver space before transferring points.
Marriott Category 1-3 Domestic Hotels
Marriott eliminated its fixed chart in 2022 and removed off-peak/standard/peak caps in 2023; pricing is now fully dynamic within unpublished category bands. Category 1 ranges roughly 5,000-18,000 points per night and Category 3 about 15,000-36,500; the minimum standard award across all categories is now 5,000 (not the old 7,500 'starting' rate). NOT RE-CONFIRMED as a fixed figure given dynamic pricing. Great for last-minute trips where cash prices spike. Bonvoy points are generally worth 0.7-0.9c. World Cup 2026: Marriott Bonvoy Near Host Cities
FIFA World Cup 2026 is hosted across 16 US, Canadian, and Mexican cities (June-July 2026). NOT RE-CONFIRMED at a fixed rate: Marriott prices fully dynamically (Category 4 now ranges 22,000-55,000 points/night), so high-demand match-date nights in host cities (Miami, New York, Dallas, LA) will price toward the top of the band (~45,000-55,000), not a fixed 35,000. Award space may be priced near the cap or unavailable on match days. Still beats host-city cash rates running 3-5x normal. Book early; availability is thinning fast.

Marriott Category 8: Aspirational Properties
Category 8 properties (St. Regis Maldives, W Maldives, Ritz-Carlton Reserve) now price dynamically from 52,000 to 140,000 points per night, not the old 85,000-100,000 range; the ceiling rose to 140,000, and aspirational dates frequently price above 100,000. 52,000 books only the lowest-demand dates. Cash rates hit $2,000-4,000/night. The 5th night free benefit on 5-night stays dramatically improves cpp. Effective CPP approaches 2.0c when stacking 5th night free on $3,000/night properties.
