Flying Blue Promo: Europe Business
One-way business class US to Europe from 45,000 Flying Blue points during the monthly 25%-off Promo Rewards; the standard non-promo saver floor is 60,000 one-way (some routes as low as 50,000). Round-trip business standard is roughly 120,000, so the prior round-trip framing was wrong. Some June 2026 promo routes price at 63,750 one-way. Heads up: AF/KLM carrier surcharges run $500-900 round-trip on own metal, materially reducing net cpp. Promo Rewards rotate monthly; check flyingblue.com in the last week of each month for the following month's discounted O&Ds. Transfer 1:1 from Chase, Amex, Citi, or Capital One.

Flying Blue Promo Rewards to Europe
Monthly Promo Rewards offer 20-25% off select Europe flights. Floor around 25,000 miles one-way on most US gateways. Carrier surcharges on AF/KLM metal run $200-400 round-trip, factor these in. Transfer 1:1 from Chase, Amex, Citi, or Capital One.

25,000 pts
Flying Blue Promo: Europe Economy
Round-trip economy US to Europe from ~37,500 Flying Blue points during monthly Promo Rewards (the deepest promo floor is 18,750 miles one-way at 25% off; standard economy is 25,000 one-way, ~50,000 RT). The old 22,000 RT figure is below even the deepest promo doubled and can no longer be booked. Flying Blue is fully dynamic with no fixed chart, so these are floor rates and actual dates often price higher. Surcharges on AF/KLM metal add $200-300. Transfer 1:1 from Chase, Amex, Citi, or Capital One.

Flying Blue: Nairobi Economy
US-origin economy to Nairobi (NBO) prices at ~60,500 Flying Blue miles one-way via Kenya Airways, the only nonstop North America-Nairobi flight (business is 147,500). The cheap ~22,500-30,000 economy figures often cited are EUROPE-to-Nairobi only (e.g. AMS-NBO), not from the US, and Africa is not in the current June 2026 Promo Rewards, so the old 35,000 US-origin promo claim is not bookable. Cash fares on this route routinely exceed $1,000. Transfer 1:1 from Chase, Amex, Citi, or Capital One.
