Transfer Bonus Cheat Sheet

Every current points-transfer bonus worth knowing about, ranked by value, with plain-English notes on when each one pays off.

See the live tracker

How to use this cheat sheet

  1. Scan the list below, bonuses ranked highest-percentage first.
  2. For each one that matches a card you already have, confirm the bonus is active in your own issuer account before transferring (some are targeted).
  3. Transfer only what you need for a specific booking. Points are always worth more in a partner program than sitting in bank points if the partner has a sweet spot.
  4. Points transfers are non-reversible. Verify twice.

Active Bonuses (0)

No active bonuses today, see recurring patterns + base-rate sweet spots below.

What to expect each month

Bonuses turn over monthly, here's the historical cadence by issuer. Updated for June: watch for the patterns below.

Bilt Rewards
1st of every month, 'Transfer Day'

Rotates 100-150% bonuses across one or two partners per month. Confirmed monthly.

Chase Ultimate Rewards
2-4× per year

Most often Hyatt (rare, ~25%), British Airways/Iberia (40-50% common in Q2), Aer Lingus (20-30%), JetBlue (20-30%). Air Canada Aeroplan bonuses appear occasionally.

Amex Membership Rewards
1-2 per quarter

BA 30-40% is a recurring spring favorite. Air France/KLM 20-25% appears semi-regularly. Hilton and Marriott bonuses rare but high-value.

Citi ThankYou
Less frequent, harder to predict

Avianca LifeMiles, Turkish Miles & Smiles, and JetBlue are the most common partners. Watch for 25-30% promotions especially in Q4.

Capital One
1-2 per quarter

Wyndham 1:1 (effectively a 100% bonus over default 0.5-cent valuation). Air Canada Aeroplan bonuses are common, watch for 15-25%.

Tokyo round-trip in business class for 75-95K miles depending on alliance routing. Book US-Japan first because availability is best 330+ days out.

1:1

United partner awards: Lufthansa, Swiss, Air Canada, ANA, Singapore. Often the cheapest path to Star Alliance business class from the US.

1:1

Star Alliance partner bookings, often cheaper than United for the same route. Especially good for transatlantic premium economy.

1:1

Singapore Suites + their Star Alliance partner award chart. Suites availability is gated to KrisFlyer redemptions only.

1:1

Bilt → Hyatt

Same Hyatt sweet spot as Chase, but earn rate from rent payments adds another base-rate transfer route. No annual fee.

Always verify before you transfer

This list is manually curated from public bank and loyalty-program announcements. Some bonuses are targeted and only appear in specific accounts. Confirm the live offer inside your card issuer's own dashboard before moving points, transfers are non-reversible.
