- Refundable security deposit of $49, $99, or $200 (tier assigned at approval based on creditworthiness) opens an initial credit line of at least $200, so qualifying applicants can receive a $200 credit line for as little as a $49 deposit (a feature unique to Capital One's secured products vs. dollar-for-dollar secured cards)
- Option to deposit more than the minimum, up to $1,000, within 35 days of approval to raise the initial credit line above $200
- No interest is applied to the security deposit while Capital One holds it as collateral
- Automatically considered for a higher credit line in as little as 6 months of responsible use, with no additional deposit required for the credit line increase
